La Discordia Writhing with snakes and two powerful nude men grasping the locks of an open-mouthed head, this striking Symbolist bronze shows the influence of Art Nouveau at its turn-of-the-20th-century height. Sculpted by Giovanni Alloati, who studied with Rodin, this inkwell was cast in Turin in 1901; the inscription at the back reads "Fonderia D'Opere D'Arte Betta Corrado."
