A finely detailed little jewel, this terra plaque shows the hand of a fine sculptor. It depicts -- in classic 1930s manner -- a man pouring water from a jug, perhaps a reference to Aquarius from the Zodiac. Clearly pressed by hand into a mold, this piece was designed to hang on a wall, and strong raking light brings every detail to life.
