Pochoir with Ocean Liner In the 1920s, French artists produced the finest, boldest and most imaginative pochoirs -- stenciled prints using gouache as a medium -- in the world, and Edouard Benedictus was one of the masters. He was known for his fabric and wallpaper designs, and he issued sets of pochoirs that demonstrated his design ideas and mastery of color palettes. This wonderful example, featuring an ocean liner at port, comes from the "Relais" series, printed on the eve of his death in 1930. To Order: Click on the "Add to Cart" button above.
